There's no better way to spend the Spring & Summer than full of outdoor adventures. Whether it's hiking, backpacking, thru-hiking, or even just walking down the street, things get messy.

I'm planning on doing all of the above, so I've been looking for a shoe I can use for everything. I always have an issue finding the right pair of shoes.

That was until I found Tropicfeel

So when I came across the Tropicfeel All Terrain sneakers I had to give them a try.

After wearing my Tropicfeel All Terrain, let me tell you why they are the BEST.

They Are VERY Comfortable, extremely breathable, and the lightest weight shoes I've ever owned

When you pick up the package, the first thing you'll notice is how light it is. Not just the shoes, but the entire package. When I got mine, I was holding the package in one hand and my phone in the other. My iPhone was heavier.

As soon as I slipped them, they immediately felt different than any other shoe I've worn. They felt light, cushiony, and balanced... something I've never been able to find in a shoe before.

And for the first time, I finally understood what people meant when they talked about something being "breathable".

These sneakers are made with 3D-engineered fabric, which basically means that's stretchy enough to bend with my foot without losing support while also maintaining a lightweight performance feel.

Water Isn't A Problem when wearing Tropicfeel

I've been wearing them out this Spring. I've gone through mud, water, wet sand... you name it.

Even though the full-grip rubber soles are cushioned and supportive, they have a flat bottom. This stops rocks and other junk from getting stuck in the padding keeping my feet and knees pain-free.

It's also surprisingly stable, which you usually don't get with a bigger cushioned shoe!

Once we got to the lake it was time to test them out in the water. The All-Terrain Sneakers aren't waterproof, but they dry really fast. I got them totally submerged, and after about 10 minutes out of the water, they were almost completely dry.

If you want your feet to stay completely dry, there is a waterproof version of the All-Terrain 2, called the AT HDry. But you do sacrifice a bit of breathability.

No Socks & No Smell

Ok you can call me gross all you want, but at the end of the day, I'm the only one wearing my shoes. Ever since I started bouldering, I've hated wearing socks.

The 3D mesh material lets my feet breathe, be comfortable, and means I don't have to worry about wet socks on a wet day.

And thanks to how breathable this shoe is, there's no gross smell after wearing them.

Not Your Dad's Hiking Boot

The Tropicfeel All Terrain Sneakers come in a bunch of different colors, but I got the Core Black.

They're not chunky or too in-your-face, which is a big win for me. I'm totally over the dad shoe comeback that should have been left in 2018.

They're slim, fitted and look more like training shoes than hiking shoes. I wear them almost everywhere…

Look Brand New in Seconds: Cleaning is so Easy

An amazing thing about these shoes that I love… they are SO EASY to clean.

I just toss them into the machine to wash on delicate and then hang dry… after about six months of doing this, they still hold their shape.

Good for Your Feet… and the Environment

I've been making more of an effort to support businesses that support our planet. My favorite part about these shoes (other than the performance) is that they're eco-friendly and made by a sustainability focused company.

Each shoe is made from recycled and low-impact materials.

As a Certified B Corp, Tropicfeel does a lot to minimize their impact on the Earth. For more information, check out their impact page

So, Should You Buy Them?

I'm always hesitant to try a new pair of shoes. But after checking out their website and seeing the thousands of positive reviews, it was a no-brainer.

The reviews were full of people talking about how comfortable they were and how easy they are to clean. That was all I needed to pull the trigger!

After giving Tropicfeel a go, I can honestly say that they live up to the hype. My only regret was not getting the waterproof version.

If you want to see how they feel, Tropicfeel has a 30-day refund/exchange policy. Check out the waterproof and water-friendly options on their website.

Your feet (and the planet) will thank you!
